Our editorial policy explains how we choose cruises, check facts and handle corrections. It also explains what affiliate income does—and does not—influence.

Seine River Boat Tours is an independent guide to cruises in Paris, not an official cruise website. We do not operate tours, sell tickets, or hold or process bookings.
Where facts come from
We use sources responsible for each detail, rather than treating every listing as equally authoritative:
- Official attraction and cruise operator information for access, facilities, boarding rules and operational changes.
- Transport authorities for public transport routes and service information.
- Our booking partner’s product data for the specific option’s duration, inclusions, price and traveller feedback.
Current operator notices take priority for operations; transport authorities take priority for transport. The selected booking option controls what the offer includes, not a general cruise description.
If those sources conflict, we leave out the disputed detail or flag it for confirmation before booking. We label estimates as guidance.
How we choose and order cruises
We select options that help you compare sightseeing, evening and dining cruises. Order reflects the page’s purpose, route, duration, departure point, inclusions and traveller feedback—not commission.
We distinguish a welcome drink from unlimited drinks and an evening departure from a promise of darkness. Our selection is not a complete list of every Paris cruise.

Prices and feedback can change
Displayed starting prices, ratings and review counts are snapshots from product data, not live guarantees. Prices can vary by date and option; ratings and counts change as reviews arrive.

We use review patterns as evidence of traveller experience, rather than quoting individual reviews as endorsements. Repeated comments about boarding, seating or commentary can inform comparisons; they do not establish rules or guarantee your experience.
Corrections and booking limits
When we identify an error, we check the relevant source and correct, qualify or remove the claim. We prioritise mistakes that could affect boarding or a purchase.
Content can lag behind weather-related changes or new departure instructions. For an existing booking, use your confirmation and contact the booking provider about changes or refunds.
